Bamboos to Bagpipes

An early start from the Bamboo Patches of Chaguaramas into the bagpipes of Scotland Bay. With the bonus of magnificant views, this trek will definitely give to the test you've been looking for!
Tour Details:
Scotland Bay is all all time favourite pit stop amongst sailboat and power boat enthusiasts. This very gentle picturesque bay can however offer you a very robust challenge.
The hills on the way to this bay seem to mutate on the return, for the climbs on the way out seem much much more intense than on the way in. The views along the way make it all worth the effort!
On the way there is a good chance of Howler and Capuchin Monkey Sightings. If you get lucky, you may get an encounter with our prolific Trinidad piping guan (Pawi).
There is only a chane for a quick dip in the bay, as the return leg is when things get quite challenging!
The final 3km descent back to Samaan Park is quite technical. We deem this hike quite intense and hence give it a grade 4/5 rating. If you are in the mood for a fierce physical challenge, then this is the one for you!
