El Pico Escondido

Translated to 'The Hidden Peak'; our 2nd highest peak will challenge you more than our 1st!
Tour Details:
Coming with great views of the Aripo Valley, this tight forest climb will give you more of a challenge than El Cerro del Aripo; T&T's highest. At 937m/3074ft, Escondido is more of an 'off the beaten track' challenge with its more technical terrain and its less than tidy lines!
SOME TRIVIA
The first known exploration of this peak was undertaken by our son of the soil and late explorer extraordinaire, Mr Glenn Wilkes and his crew in 2015. They gave it the name El Pico Escondido.
THE TREK
Before your final climb, this trek takes you into 2 steep valleys with 2 river crossings; a good chance to take a revitalizing soak. You will be in terrain that has not been trodden very much by man; your chance of spotting creatures like the Pawi and the Peccary will be far greater than that of the other peaks in our offerings.
Join us for this lush, challenging trek and get those bragging rights!
