Double Espresso

Double Espresso is another thrilling edition to the Falling Angels collection; it takes you higher up and deeper in! As with the other Angels, it conveniently starts a short drive up the North coast of Trinidad, just before Las Cuevas. The topography you will experience along the tour route, is nothing short of magnificent.

The expedition starts with a 7km/4.3mi approach, way past the very top of the breathtaking Angel Falls. Along the way, there is more than a chance to be entertained by the playful White Bearded Manakins as they carry on with their mating rituals. As with Falling Angels Grande, some of the gradient of the approach, which takes you to the very top of Angel Falls, will challenge you with her steepness. At the end of the incline, you will continue your trek along the ridge until your eventual entry into the canyons and embark on some short but beautiful rappels, until the overhang of Angel Falls!

As usual, during your journey, you will experience scrambling and rock hopping along the river, 7 rappels (some in excess of 25m/80ft) and who knows... perhaps even have an encounter with Crab Eating Raccoons!

If you do not have previous experience using rappelling/rock climbing gear and not familiar with the techniques used for this activity, you will be required to participate in the CoolBlue Evolution Rock Climbing/Rappelling Experience (see our listings), prior to embarking on this expedition.
