Lalasomba

A tad shorter than her big sister Sombalala; her approach does hovever, pack a bigger punch and still boasts 11 rappels!
Tour Details:
As with Sombalala, your journey also starts with a 45min jeep road drive all the way into the remoteness of Lalaja.
AN EARLY START
The logistics of this tour also requires an early start. We strongly suggest an overnight in Lalaja to ensure setting off on time. We have arranged accomodation at 'Villa de Sombalala' for $100TTD. This accomodation is very rustic and has very basic amenities but will set the tone for the epic experience of Sombalala!
THE APPROACH
The 7km/4.3mi approach is fairly straight forward for the first 5km/3mi. After that, the remaining 2km is where the power punch comes in!
LET THE CANYONING BEGIN
Immediately after your final descent into the Guanapo River, the actions starts almost immediately with a tight gorge rappel. Here you will typically have close encounters with the enchanted Black Swifts.
At the end of the river traverse, you will have a 5km/3mi trek back to base. 9 hrs later you will have gathered memories to last a lifetime!
